Sweet Horse-Chestnut tree12 viewsTaken today in Sandwell Valley Park. This Sweet Horse_Chestnut tree has been hit by lighting and the middle is rotted away but the far side is still alive and produces a good crop of sweet Horse-Chestnuts every year. It's strange that most of these trees in Sandwell Valley have also been hit by lighting, so if a storm starts don't stand under one of these trees! 'Sweet' girl7 viewsThis photo was taken in Javea last month at the Three Kings fiesta. These girls give out sweets to the children as part of a procession for the Three Kings on 5th January which celebrates the Kings giving gifts to baby Jesus. It is the main Christmas celebration in Spain rather than the 25th December.Colin
